In addition to named awards, CBMS actively fosters engagement of junior researchers in the microTAS conference by supporting competitively funded CBMS Student Travel Awards. Since 2011, CBMS has assisted more than 350 students and postdoctoral scholars with attending microTAS by awarding more than $280,000 in CBMS Student Travel Awards.
