Microsystems & Nanoengineering/Springer Nature Test of Time Award

The Microsystems & Nanoengineering/Springer Nature Test of Time Award recognizes research that was presented at MicroTAS within the last 10-15 years that is still impacting today's research in the field of microfluidics.

Nomination Process
Nominations may be made by anyone and must be sent via email to awards@microtas2025.org. Self-nominations are welcome.

A one-page CV for the nominee, including the title of the abstract and information on which year the presentation took place (10-15 year ago).

An accompanying letter of why this work can be considered as the best work that is still impacting today`s MicroTAS research. The awardee must be still an active researcher in the field of MicroTAS (at a University, public institution or company).

Deadline for nomination: 31 of July 2025

Selection Process
The selection will be done by 3 microTAS chairs who served 10-15 years ago and the editor of Springer Microsystems & Nanoengineering.

The Winners Will Receive
  • $2000 Honorarium
  • An award plaque
The award will be given at a dedicated time during the conference.
